WILL and Habitat for Humanity Island County share the vision of a South Whidbey where people have access to affordable housing. Grace Landing provides home-ownership to those who might never have had that opportunity.
These thoughtfully planned homes provide a realistic pathway to ownership for working individuals and families while fostering a close-knit, supportive neighborhood. Lower costs, smarter design, financial stability, and a strong sense of community make Grace Landing cottages a lasting affordable housing solution—not a temporary fix.
Lower-income housing shortages are addressed when communities choose to build smarter, collaborate locally, and invest with a long-term vision. Attainable housing is about more than cottages—it’s about supporting the people who keep our community thriving.
Become part of the solution through Living Legacy Giving—your opportunity to see your generosity at work.

Donated by Sara Stevenson and Richard Queen, the .45-acre wooded property on the corner of Camano Ave. and Edgecliff Dr. is ideal for this cottage community.
We’re actively collaborating with the City of Langley and local partners to ensure responsible, sustainable development. Permit applications have been submitted.
Evaluating and preserving as many trees as possible, there are an estimated two of sixteen trees that will be removed.
We have finalized the placement of the homes, driveway, and parking. The beauty of the lot and the surrounding area is incorporated into the nature-compatible design.
We're pleased to have engaged a highly-qualified contractor (Cruver’s Contracting LLC) to prepare the land and build the homes. Disruption will be minimized with their organized and efficient approach to building. Infrastructure begins now.
We've been working with Chelladeck Studios Architects to develop efficient, comfortable, and attractive house plans. They have brought our vision to life.

Habitat for Humanity Island County is not yet accepting applications for Grace Landing. We will announce home buyer information sessions and updated application information here:
